HoneyMoon Day 3

On our next day in Mexico we hopped back on the shuttle and went back into town in Playa Del Carmen. This is a picture of the main street there called 5th street, this is where we did all of our shopping and eating. And best of all the beach was like 2 streets over so when it got too hot we could go cool off in the ocean.
They had these cute little stands set up all over that they would braid all of your hair, so I convinced Jared to let me do it, and I absolutely Loved it! It was so nice not having to do my hair all week. Especially with the hot and humid weather and my naturally curly hair.
The main thing we wanted to do this day was to go para sailing. The day before when we came into town to go to Wal-Mart we had seen these guys with a tent set up that offered para sailing for $50 and when we were no even interested they kept going down and down with their price. So today I was convinced that I was not going to pay for than $35 a person for us to go para sailing. When we got down to the beach I could not find the tent that we had seen yesterday and I was determined to find them that we walked up and down the beach for a few hours. After much searching I decided that we could go with one of the other guys that we had spoke to on the other side of the beach. So we found him and told him we wanted to go and he said okay follow me. He walked quite a ways ahead of us down the beach and the more I thought about it the more I started to panic about the price and while I was freaking out Jared asked me what I wanted to do.............. and then I just starting running up the beach away from the guy and hid for a little while. hahahaha

So after a few more hours of me being determined to find these other guys I finally gave up and we had to go back to the guy that I bolted from and tell him we were ready this time. I gave him the excuse that I had to go to the bathroom really fast and he was too far ahead to let him know and he was totally cool with the whole thing. So we hopped on a jet ski and they took out to the boat where the parachute was.Our boat had the longest rope compared to all the other boats out at the same time and we had a blast!

While we were up in the air we could see something dark swimming to the surface and I started freaking our again thinking that it was a shark! ha ha well it just kept coming closer and closer to the surface until we could tell that it was a sea turtle! It was so cool to see it out in the middle of the ocean right underneath us!

We had such a blast but we were so exhausted by the end of the day that we could not wait to get back to the condo and take a nap and eat! Another Great Day in Mexico!

HoneyMoon Day 2

On our second day in Mexico our biggest plan was to go to Wal-Mart and get some groceries to keep at our condo. So they had a shuttle from our condo that took us into town and it cost $5 each person, which is not bad at all compared to how much a taxi cost. So we got ready for the day and hopped on the shuttle and went into town. We found the Wal-Mart fairly easily and after going up the elevator and walked in, this was the first thing that I saw.
Notice the big $185 sign! This was all over the store and I completely panicked cause we did not have that kind of money to just buy groceries. After a few seconds I realized we were not in America anymore and that these were Pesos not Dollars and I was totally fine after that. So we bought all our groceries and headed back to the condo to eat and just relax by the pool. We had bought a frozen pizza and planned to throw it in the oven and eat that for dinner that night. Well........... when we got back to the room and put everything away we realized that there was no oven and we were going to have to cook microwave frozen pizza instead. Yuck!

We also learned this day on our shopping trip and milk in Mexico is NOT refrigerated and comes in a box. While we were at the store we spent hours trying to find milk for our cereal and not until we had walked up and down every isle did we find the shelves with boxes of milk. I must say I was pretty nervous to try this milk but it tasted normal and I did not die from it, so I guess it is okay.

It was also so hot and humid there that Jared could not stand to wear any of his t-shirts that we had packed for him, so while we were at Wal-Mart he bought a pack of tank tops and that is all that he could stand to wear the entire week we were there.

HoneyMoon Day 1

Our wedding day was great! and I will get pictures of that up as soon as I get them back from my photographer but I want to share with everyone pictures from our awesome honeymoon. My parents gave us a week of their time share to go to Mexico. We went to Playa Del Carmen a town right outside of Cancun. We on Saturday July 16th the day after we got married. By the time we got done at our reception and changed and ready to go we left Cedar around 1130 PM. We were in the car on the freeway about 20 miles outside of Cedar when I realized that I had forgot out confirmation for our hotel in Mexico back at the house. So we had to turn around and go back and get it and then head back to Vegas. By the time we got there it was about 2 in the morning and our plane left at 6 am so we had only a few hours of sleep before we had to get up to catch our plane. We were so tired the whole day. This is a picture of us on our first plane on the way there. We had a lay over in Dallas Texas and arrived in Mexico at about 4 pm local time.
When we got there we did not have any transportation planned out and it was extremely frustrating trying to figure out how we were going to get to our hotel. I was so tired that I started crying and saying that I wanted to go home. Jared did great and figured everything out and got us there, got me fed and then we just went to bed.

Fourth of Juy

We spent the 4th of July this year with my family in Cedar. We went to the parade early that morning and then we went on a hike up at Kannara Falls.
Of course we brought the dogs with us on the hike too and they were more than excited to get out of the house.

This was a pretty challenging hike especially for my Grandma and our little dogs. You are walking through water most of the time so the dogs were freezing and we carried them more than half of the way. And then you have to go up these ladders and it was really hard on my grandmas knees too. So this hike was more than an adventure between the three of them. And everyone was very glad when we made it out and it was over.
Me and my Grandma Waters

There is a place on the hike where you can slide down the rocks in the water and Jared and my dad had too much fun daring each other what to do.

Hot Dogs and Marshmellows

At my bridal shower I got a gift card to Wal-Mart and I had been watching these fire pits they were selling and right after we got back they went on sale for half the price so of course I got one! That night we roasted hot dogs and smores in the backyard! It was so fun and I must say that I love my new fire pit!.

Daija thought she needed some treats too, so I gave her some bites of my marshmellow and it was so funny watching her try and figure out what it was that she was eating. She could not decide if she really like it or not.

Daija and Jared

One day Daija slept on Jared's shoulder like this for hours and he absolutely loved it and made sure that I got plenty of pictures. Later I found out that the ones I took he didn't think were good enough so he took some more all by himself. Hahaha

Vegas Trip

We had to go to Vegas for Jared to do some of his clinicals for paramedic school. A girl in his class was so great to let us stay at her parents house so we didn't have to pay for a hotel. Jared was doing night clinicals so during they day we would play out by the pool at their house. It was great. Of course I had just bought these life guard shirts for the girls so I had to take some cute pictures of them.

Clearfield Bridal Shower

Jared's mom was so great and planned a bridal shower for me up in Clearfield with all of their family and friends. It was so fun for me to get to know everyone better and I had a blast. Jared's sister Melissa could not make it all the way back in Georgia so we had her on Skype most of the time so she could be part of the fun. The first thing we did was play a game where they asked me questions about Jared and I had to answer them right or else I had to put a piece of Gum in my mouth. I think I got up to over 20 pieces in my mouth. We then decided that Jared needed to join in on the fun and they asked him questions about me with the same rues.

These are all the great people that came and have supported up through everything!

And last but not least everyone wrote down some great advice for us as we start our new life together! They were all so great and we do try to follow them alot! Especially the Heslops, she told us to always hold hands wherever we go and we will be walking somewhere and one of us will look at the other and say " You are supposed to hold my hand:)" Thanks to everyone for being so great!
