Christmas 2010

This are our way cute stockings that I had one of my friends make for us, I love them so much they are way better than anything that we could have bought at a store!

When I was first starting to put up decorations Daija was not too thrilled about the new additions to the house. If anything is out of place she will sit and bark and bark at it. It makes us laugh so hard! This is a video of her attacking my garland.
I was not even going to put up a tree this year because I was moving but we were at Walgreens one night and they were having this blowout sale on a 6ft fake tree that was normally $40 and it was on sale for $8. Of course I couldn't turn that down so my cute little tree has nothing but lights on it this year.
I know you all think I am crazy but our puppies are like my kids so they of course had to get pajamas for Christmas and they looked to stinkin' cute! We thought they would go crazy opening presents because they shred every other piece of paper they can find but they we really not that interested. But we had a really good time and loved watching them be their cute little selves.

Merry Christmas Everyone! We love and miss you all!

Thanksgiving

Since Jared and I did not get to spend Thanksgiving together we cooked a little dinner of our own the Sunday after so we could have a Thanksgiving dinner together. When I bought my new TV a couple of weeks ago they gave us a coupon for a free turkey so there was no better reason to cook dinner. This was only the second turkey I have ever cooked so of course we had to take a picture of me trying to get the gross stuff from the middle.
This is our table set right before we ate. And yes the turkey is missing cause it was taking FOREVER to cook and we were to hungry to wait so we ate everything else and then the turkey later.

After we had taken the turkey out and were carving it some of the juice had started dripping down the front of the dishwasher and we didn't notice until Daija and Jazelle would not stop licking the front of it. But of course cause we think they are so cute we could not stop them we just had to take a bunch of pictures and record a video.

Latest Happenings

So this past little while has been crazy busy so I have not really had any time to take any pictures or update the blog. But we both have been working on finishing our finals and doing everything to finish this semester of school. I have FINALLY taken all of my finals and I have 2 more clinicals that I have to make up this next week because I got sick. Jared did his practical finals on Thursday night and did really well and then he just has a written final to take on Tuesday and then he is done. I have mailed in my application to take my LPN test and I get to schedule a test date on Friday Dec. 17. I am so excited!!!!On my way to my clinicals the other morning I have to leave Cedar at 0445 in the morning so I got in my car and had barely drivin' down the street from my house and a heard of deer were running across the road. I could not believe that there were deer in the middle of town! It kind of woke me up for the morning.

Blizzard!

This past week we got a ton of snow in Cedar City. I was really worried that Daija and Jazelle would not want to go outside and we would have to force them. But it all went down completely opposite. They loved playing outside in the snow we had go pick them up and make them come inside every time we let them out.

Family Pictures!!

So we went up the mountain and took these earlier this fall but it has taken me a while to edit them. But here they finally are! I thought it would be super cute to put bows in Jazelle and Daija's hair but they didn't think the idea was so cool so before we could even leave the house they had helped each other pull their bows out. But don't worry I got them in for at least a few pictures and they looked so stinkin' cute!

Hamster Ball

Jared's  roommate Wes has a hamster that he puts in it's ball and lets it roll around the house and Daija loves to chase and push her all over the place.

Wii Game night

We had a boxing tournament on the Wii one night with Jared's room mare Wes and his girlfriend Kim. I totally kicked everyone's butt!!! but now no one will ever play against me cause they say I am too crazy and they will just loose. But it was a way fun night.

Sunday Drive

So this past Sunday Jared and I decided to go on a drive and bring the puppies with us. So we were driving around looking for me a new place to live and I got out to go look in the windows of an empty house to see what I could see inside. Well Daija thought she needed to get out of the car too but then something scared her so she ran underneath the car and would not stop barking so Jared turned off the car and it took us forever to get her out from underneath. So we all got back in the car and had barely started to drive and all of a sudden she jumped out of the window! Luckily we were going slow enough she landed on her feet and was just fine but we rolled up all of the windows so she could not do it again. Then ............... not too long after we had started driving again Jazelle started dry heaving and so Jared hurried and pulled over but it was not fast enough and she threw up all over the side of Jared's car and down into the crack of where the window was rolled down. So we decided to just go back that we had had enough so we pulled up to the house and got out when I noticed Jazelle had thrown up all over the floor in the car and it was on the back of my foot! GROSS! I don't think we will be taking a Sunday drive with the girls again for awhile.
And this is a picture of the puke down the side of Jared's car. ha ha ha ha ha ha

Other things that happened in October

The first big thing that happened in October was we decided to get another puppy to add to our family. Jared wanted a bigger more manly dog than me prissy Jazelle. So one night at work I was looking on KSL and found this dog that I thought was perfect. They were a German jagdterrier and a shih tzu mix. No shedding! YAY! So I came home and showed him the pictures and we decided to go get her. So when Jared got off work we drove up to Toole and picked up our new puppy Daija.

Jared got tired and couldn't drive some of the way home so I took over and everyone fell asleep so I took crazy pictures of myself with Jared sleeping in the background. Jazelle was so jealous when we first picked her up she would not even sit on the same side of the car as her. But by the end of the night they were both snuggling with Jared.

And then by the time we got them home Jazelle was even sharing her bed with Daija. But they still fight all the time and we have to break them up.
Daija had so much fun on her first walk with me, Jared, and Jazelle.

Daija and Jazelle could not decide if they liked it or not when I made them come play in their first rainstorm.

Jared had a little accident this month while taking a fish tank out to the garbage can. It all started out with a phone call while I was at work that he thought he needed stitches. Well I was already at the hospital and so I told him to just wrap up his hand and come to the hospital and I would go to the ER with him. When we were on the phone he started to say that he was going to pass out so I told him to sit down and put his head between his knees and I would be there in just a minute. When I got home he was laying on the floor with his hand hanging in the shower bleeding all over everything. So I got him cleaned up and we went to the ER and thought we would just have to get it stitched up. Well he had cut his tendon just over 50% so he had to have surgery to get it fixed. The morning of his surgery I had to give a presentation in class down in St. George so I went down gave my presentation and hurried back in time to make it to be with him for his surgery.
