Other things that happened in October

The first big thing that happened in October was we decided to get another puppy to add to our family. Jared wanted a bigger more manly dog than me prissy Jazelle. So one night at work I was looking on KSL and found this dog that I thought was perfect. They were a German jagdterrier and a shih tzu mix. No shedding! YAY! So I came home and showed him the pictures and we decided to go get her. So when Jared got off work we drove up to Toole and picked up our new puppy Daija.

Jared got tired and couldn't drive some of the way home so I took over and everyone fell asleep so I took crazy pictures of myself with Jared sleeping in the background. Jazelle was so jealous when we first picked her up she would not even sit on the same side of the car as her. But by the end of the night they were both snuggling with Jared.

And then by the time we got them home Jazelle was even sharing her bed with Daija. But they still fight all the time and we have to break them up.
Daija had so much fun on her first walk with me, Jared, and Jazelle.

Daija and Jazelle could not decide if they liked it or not when I made them come play in their first rainstorm.

Jared had a little accident this month while taking a fish tank out to the garbage can. It all started out with a phone call while I was at work that he thought he needed stitches. Well I was already at the hospital and so I told him to just wrap up his hand and come to the hospital and I would go to the ER with him. When we were on the phone he started to say that he was going to pass out so I told him to sit down and put his head between his knees and I would be there in just a minute. When I got home he was laying on the floor with his hand hanging in the shower bleeding all over everything. So I got him cleaned up and we went to the ER and thought we would just have to get it stitched up. Well he had cut his tendon just over 50% so he had to have surgery to get it fixed. The morning of his surgery I had to give a presentation in class down in St. George so I went down gave my presentation and hurried back in time to make it to be with him for his surgery.
