On our first day there we bought a city pass thing that got us unlimited public transportation and tickets to a bunch of tourist sites. So we first went to the San Francisco Modern Art Museum. It was everything I could do to try and keep Jared from breaking something! And the security guard lady got mad when the flash of my camera was on. We felt like we were walking on egg shells in that place When we were done there we went to this place called the California Academy of Sciences where they had an aquarium, planetarium, and rain forest all under one roof. We had a blast there. Then when we were done there Jared took me to the Golden Gate bridge at sunset cause I had never been.
These were a couple of our favorite paintings at the modern art museum.
while we were walking through the museum we looked out the window and there was this random where's Waldo on the roof of the next building over.
These were taken at the Academy of Sciences there is the aquarium and then we got to watch them feed the penguins in the afternoon, then there is me and Jared in the rain forest and the beautiful butterflies they just let fly all around you. It was so pretty.
The beautiful sunset at the Golden Gate bridge was a nice way to finish off our day. Especially because it was freezing cold.
Our next day in San Francisco we spent the entire day at Fisherman's Wharf and did everything there was to see there. The blue angels air show was going to that day over the water so it was a great day to go there.
The first thing we did was take a cruise boat underneath the Golden Gate Bridge, while we were on the boat there were dolphins swimming in the water all over around us. I thought that was so cool. The boat also took us around Alcatraz and then there was an old fashion pirate ship that Jared went crazy about. While we were watching the airshow we were right by the famous Pier 39 sea lions.
We went to another aquarium at the wharf our second day too. In a lot of the tanks they had bubbles that you could stick your head up inside the tank and of course we couldn't resist. Then we got to pet some sharks in the petting pool. We also just walked through some stores and these Chinese people were running the souvenir store and of course we had to try on their cultural hats. I was nervous they were going to get mad at us!
After the aquarium we went to Ripley's Believe It Or Not. Where they had all these crazy statues of true stories and lots of fun stuff. I posed with the girl that was raised by wolves. Then me and Jared took pictures next to a statue of the world's tallest man. The spaceship is made completely out of matchsticks. Then after we were done looking at everything we attempted to do the mirror maze challenge. We were so lost and could not tell where we were and was was real or what was just a reflection. After our long day we went out to dinner at this way good place where we had the best coconut shrimp that I had ever tasted in my entire life. And I don't even like shrimp!
Then on our last day there we went to this amazing building! I can't remember what it was called but inside it was this place called the Exploratorium where we could do all these way cool science project like experiments. The pictures of us with the funny glasses are messing up our perception and then we had to try and shoot the basketball. We were laughing so hard at each other. And then finally that night we got to go to the game! It was so fun especially because the Eagles won and Jared was happy:)
